Library

The NEST Archives and Special Collections (ASC) also includes a sizeable number of rare books and journals that are accessible to library patrons with special permission. They include early editions of important books on Christianity, especially Protestantism in the United States, Europe, and the Middle East. Nineteenth-century missionary publications and traveler's guides to the Middle East are also represented. Many of these are English language books written by American and British missionaries who worked in the region, such as William M. Thomson and Henry Harris Jessup.

NEST Library also houses hard to find journals such as early volumes of Al-Nashra, the Arabic weekly of the American Mission Press (which is now published monthly by the National Evangelical Synod of Syria and Lebanon).
